Whether you’re printing a single document or preparing artwork for an event, here’s how to get it right the first time—and make the most of your quote.

🖼️ File Setup Basics

Best Format: PDF is king. It preserves quality and layout.
Other Accepted Files: JPEGs, PNGs, Word, PowerPoint—but we’ll convert them before printing. (Designs are best flattened.)
Need Help? Our studio can adjust or convert your files for a small setup fee.

🎨 Colour & Appearance

CMYK Colour Mode: We print in CMYK, not RGB. Some colours (especially bright blues, neons, and pastels) may appear more muted in print.
Pantone Colours: These are converted automatically. Let us know if colour accuracy is critical.
Viewing Tip: Zoom to 100% in your PDF to check colour contrast and image clarity before sending.

📐 Trimming & Bleed

Bleed: Add 3mm bleed on all sides if your artwork goes to the edge of the page.
Safe Zone: Keep important text/images 5mm away from the edge to avoid accidental trimming.
Borders: If you're using borders, make them at least 5mm thick or avoid them—they can look uneven if not set up correctly.

📏 Resolution & Image Quality

Best Resolution: 300 DPI for all images and graphics.
Low-Res Warning: Anything under 150 DPI may appear pixelated or blurry.
Proof It: Zoom in on your design or view it at full size to check for any fuzziness before submitting.

✨ Paper, Lamination & Finish

Standard Stocks: We offer a range from budget paper to premium card (up to 400gsm).
Lamination: Recommended for double-sided or edge-to-edge colour prints on thick stock—especially 300gsm+. Helps prevent cracking at the edges.
Gloss, Silk, Matt: Let us know your preference—some finishes suit vibrant colours or corporate tones better.

⏱️ Turnaround & Print Timing

Let us know your deadline—we’ll always try to meet it.
Same-day prints are available for standard documents.
Larger jobs (like brochures or posters) may take 1–2 working days depending on finish and quantity.
